A professional coach for adults with Attention Deficit
Disorder (ADHD)
since 1998, Dana cheers her clients into action and helps them figure
out what they want in life and how to out-smart their ADD so they can
get it out of their way.
Before becoming a coach, Dana spent nearly ten years as a professional organizer,
giving workshops and advising businesses and homeowners alike on how to
improve productivity and reduce stress with practical ways to manage
their paper, stuff, space and time.
Dana is renown for her unique
approach to organizing. Her methods are practical; designed for busy
people with better things to think about than keeping their office
or home tidy.
Dana has a secret
weapon that benefits all her clients: by nature she tends to be
disorganized. So she understands what it takes to change and what a
positive impact effective organization will have on your life. She
knows from experience that better organization means more free-time,
less stress, greater self-confidence and an all around better attitude.
Nearly 20 years ago, after a life-long struggle with clutter and chaos,
she'd had enough. Dana became determined to learn how to get organized
so she could easily stay organized.
Along with completely transforming
her life she realized that there is a definite difference between the
way naturally organized and disorganized people think and approach
life, prompting her to create the Secret Habits of Organized People™ program, the basis for her e-book, Organized for Life.
Dana is a graduate of Coach U., an International Coach
Federation-accredited training program that produces many of the
world's finest business and life coaches. Dana also is one of a select
group of coaches comprehensively trained by the Optimal Functioning
Institute to coach adults with Attention Deficit Disorder.
Her varied career and life path provides her with a breadth of
experience that benefits her clients. She has worked as a business
systems analyst, strategic planner and labor relations representative
for a major corporation. In addition to being a professional organizer,
for a time she was a resource conservation consultant.
In 1989 Dana and her husband sold their house, left their corporate
jobs and traveled for the next year throughout the U.S. and Europe.
They now live in southwestern Oregon with their young daughter and
numerous pets.
Dana is a magna cum laude graduate of California State University,
Dominguez Hills, with a degree in business and personnel
administration.
